Best Resort on GB for folks staying elsewhere on Provo?

So, the situation: 4 couples leaving their kiddos behind for a 4 day stay in a villa in Turtle Tail. The question: assuming we'll want to come over to Grace Bay and "set up" for a couple afternoons on the beach, are there resorts that are particularly lax if we want to use the beach chairs, etc? We're happy to spend money at the bar and so on, but wonder how strict the various resorts are. Our villa will have a few beach chairs we can bring over, but we'd like to have some loungers.

They will ask for your room number & in some instances to see your key. Unless you are staying with that resort, their loungers will be off limits. Recently, another poster asked if there was a place on Grace Bay to rent loungers & I'm fairly certain the answer was a resounding no. Sorry!

The beach chairs are for paying resort guests only. There are no places on GB where you can rent chairs. You can bring your own from the villa and place them wherever you want, but can't use the resorts.

I heard it has gotten so bad at someplaces with outside people using towels and chairs many are now checking people's name and condo number with the guest registry.

Great - this is great to know. This way we'll make sure to bring our own chairs. Seems to me like there is a business opportunity for someone, though, as we'd be happy to rent some loungers for the day.

While I agree there's a business opportunity for this, logistics make it almost impossible.

Because most villas have small beach chairs to take to different beaches, no one wants to pay

The work permit for it would cost $4000

The loungers would rot every 4 months in the sun and be hard to replace

(villas can take them inside, storage unit for some would be a fortune)

It's a long beach (12 miles) so hard to pick 1 spot for all chair rentals (and let people know, grace bay changes at different spots, so not all villa owners hang at the same section)

You would have to be close to where a public beach access has lots of parking. They all have parking, but not enough to rent chairs enough to make money (so like, no mire than 10)

There's not enough villas to justify this. Not like a crowded island that gets cruise stops to make this kind of money out of something like this.

The only "business" that could do this is Flamingos, maybe they'll consider it!
