How lucky can you be? Bougainvilla, THE boutique on St John, is having their annual 50% off EVERYTHING sale starting Fri, Nov 7 for 3 days only. This is a don't miss for sure.

A favorite art gallery, Gallery St Thomas on Main Street, is having a re-opening reception on Nov 7 from 5:30 to 8:30. An excellent opportunity to mingle with locals and see fine, local art.

The Beach Bar on St John live jazz on Sun starting at 4 p.m.

Iggie's at Bolongo for Caribbean Night (if they've resumed. They suspended in Sep/Oct, and I haven't seen a resumption announcement) or karaoke.

Pick up a copy of the Island Trader when you arrive as they have up to date listings and advertisements for all kinds of things going on. You can also see it online via a link from the VI Daily News at www.virginislandsdailynews.com.

Hope you've rented a car to make exploring easy and that a trip over to St John is on the itinerary, as well as a day sail so you can explore from the water. Have a wonderful visit. Cheers!

If you go downtown, stop in at Seven Arches museum. It's an old Danish craftsman's house that has been restored (I think it's from the 1700's) and is a really interesting place to see. Beautiful antiques, too. Open 10:00 to 4:00 PM during the week.

It's up on Government Hill just east of Hotel 1829 down a short walkway.
