Honeymoon Cottage Mary's Creek

Has anyone stayed here? Is it private and quiet? What was it like?

We stayed on the same little "road" in Villa Serenity as Honeymoon Cottage. They were renovating Honeymoon at the time with new bath and granite countertops. It is at the end of the very short little road, very private, very quiet, with a great view. It is also a nice walk to Francis Bay if you do not have too much to carry. The location is great for access to North Shore beaches and Coral Bay.

I haven't stayed at this villa but it seems to get consistently rave reviews. It is in a very quiet setting, largely surrounded by national park land. Mary's Creek is not really a creek but a pretty expansive bay of sorts. If you look at it on a map you'll see what I mean. Also, it is a short drive to the northshore beaches. If you look it up in the Caribbean forum on Fodor's.com, especially a review written by "Iamq" you will get a pretty detailed description.

It's also quite close to the Maho Bay Campground which has a restaurant and small store. You don't have to be staying at Maho to eat in the restaurant or use the store.
