Oh no! Hurricane!

We are arriving on St. John on Friday and it looks like this tropical depression is going to be a full blown hurricane. Anyone on the island have any new news?

Anyone still thinking about a trip should make a point of buying trip insurance when you make your deposit. Some insurers won't offer complete protection (including storms) if you wait too many days after deposit to buy the insurance.

Two options: Make reservations at the last minute when there are no storms brewing (you can almost always get hotel/air during the low season) or pay now and take out insurance just in case. Check www.travelguard.com for a variety of policies -- basic to one that covers everything.
