villa Casa de Sonadores

Does anyone have any info on villa Casa de Sonadores? Would love to hear from someone that stayed here previously.

Is it near many other villas, road to villa, comfort of the villa? any info would be of help.

We stayed there last March and had a blast decent layout but all the showers are outside ensuite but walled in. Close to gate but very little traffic and feels pretty secluded with a wonderful sunset view. Easy access from Cruz Bay from Centerline Rd. or up all the switchbacks which seems hairier at night. The theater room seemed a little musty when we were there, kind of in the basement with a few games available (some requiring change). Given the location easy access by car to everything and I think we would definitely stay again.

We stayed there about a year ago. It is a very nice house.

It is the very first house in the development so access is easy. Road noise can be heard but we didn't find it to be any worse then other locations on STJ.

Agree on the tv/game room. It is the ground floor with no window so it feels like a basement. We only went down there once, we don't go to STJ to watch movies :)

The bedrooms are equal, which is a must for our group. I think our bathroom (the only one downstairs) had an indoor shower. The pool is a bit different as it is round and you need to step up into it. The outside areas are lovely. Plenty of parking.

All in all, it is a very nice house and we would stay there again. The only thing "off" about it, and this is very minor, is the glasses and plates were junky - old brown coffee mugs, no bowls, mismatched wine glasses. Hopefully the owners replaced these items by now.

Thank you so much for your input - picking the villa is the hardest part of the trip. It looks like a really nice villa - seriously considering booking it very soon. Don't plan on spending much time down in the game/movie room.

Casa de Sonadores is truly a treat. A luxury villa with everything new and upgraded, in good taste, and spotlessly clean. Gourmet kitchen, beautiful pool. Large bedrooms. We slept very well (rum helps). I totally recommend it to anyone wanting upscale accommodations.

Game room? We didn't need it. We had loads of space in the Great Room upstairs and on the decks.

Tip: We found Casa de Sonadores from a large list of possible rental properties at www.stjohnvillarental.com, using "Help Find A Villa". Got an immediate reply, which was very helpful. We got several suggestions of properties that we loved, but settled on Casa de Sonadores.
