Carry-on/Baggage ?

I booked our flights for our trip next year and our departure flight from St Thomas is at 4.40 pm, we have to be out of the villa around 9.45am and turn in our rental car at 10.00 on St. John. We will only have carry-on bags, and we would like to secure them somewhere

so we can burn some time up either on St. John or St Thomas.

I really don`t want to sit around St. Thomas airport for 5 hours or have to carry our bags around.

I looked at booking an earlier flight but it is several hundred dollars more.

Thanks for any advice?

The Best Western Emerald Beach resort on the airport road sits on a lovely beach and there's a restaurant beachside at which you can enjoy lunch and a few drinks. The resort has no problem holding your bags as long as you're spending a little money with them! If you want to do some shopping and sightseeing, a taxi to town from there will cost you $5 per person each way or, if you're fit and healthy, you can walk it.

I just found out that Connections will secure the bags for a small fee.

Thanks!

Also, the taxi stand in Charlotte Amalie will hold them for free. You just go back when you want to go to the airport.

I do not know who you are renting from. We always rent from Courtesy and they allow us to pay a hourly rate if we return after 10am. We usually keep the Jeep a few extra hours and have a half day more in paradise!!!

We are renting from Courtesy, but I think we will just turn the Jeep in and secure our bags at Connections. Thanks for that info., I will remember that for future trips.
