There are no direct flights to STT from Houston. You'll have a layover most likely in Miami.

We flew to Miami and stayed overnight, and then took an early morning flight to STT, then the ferry to St. John. On the way back, we flew back to Houston the same day, with another two hour layover in Miami.

We're planning a trip back in '15, and this time, we're going to fly to San Juan, then take Seaborne to STT. We want to do the same thing, and spend one night, checking out Old San Juan, before heading out to STT in the morning.

We are headed there in April from Houston, stopping in Miami, then taking the ferry over to St. John.

Just make sure your flight into STT isn't to late at night. American has a MIA/STT flight that gets in to late for a STJ ferry.

The last passenger ferry leaves Red Hook at midnight; the last car barge leaves at 7PM.
