Is it safe to be on the beach at night or to snorkel?

How is the night snorkeling on St John? Is it worth it?

My husband wants to try it but I am not totally convinced.

Where we can safely snorkel at night? Which beach or which location?

Is it dangerous in general to be on the beach at night?

Stick to a guided trip if possible. Snorkeling at night is VERY VERY different from snorkeling during the day.

As someone mentioned - check with Low Key - maybe they can set up something if there are enough people interested.
