Atlantis Day Pass

Hi

Just wondering if anyone can help - we are 2 adults possibly visiting Bahamas in March 2012 for honeymoon. Not sure we want to spend all of it at Paradise Island.

What is exactly included in the day passes for the Atlantis?

Is this pass worth while or would you recommend staying @ the Atlantis?

Thanks

Atlantis is amazing with amazing prices as well. If you stay at the Comfort Suites, right across the street from Atlantis, you have access to everything at Atlantis for half the price, plus CS has a free continental breakfast and free wifi.

So if you don't want to spend all your honeymoon on Paradise Island, maybe you could spend a few days at the Comfort Suites, enjoying Atlantis and Nassau, and then the rest of your stay somewhere else.

Just got back from Bahamas and visited the Atlantis for one day. We got a day pass which costs $120 USD per adult per day. This included access to the waterpark and beaches. (No food or drinks) My in-laws who were with us and did not want to do waterslides got a beach day pass for $69 USD which also included a lunch voucher for select restaurants (burgers, fries, salads and a drink). They only had access to the pools and beach. Hope this helps.

Just for the record:

The Atlantis Beach pass does NOT include the pools.. if the in-laws got to use them then kudos to them.. but it's not included in the $69 Beach Pass.

We just came back from the Bahamas. I don't recommend spending a day at the Atlantis unless you have kids (and lots of them) because they are full of them. Felt like a high school campus with a water park. Not at all relaxing. We blew $390 for 3 day passes and regret spending that money. IMHO

Three Island,

Unfortunately for you, you went to Atlantis during Easter Spring Break for most school kids in the USA. If you go while schools are in session there aren't that many kids all over Atlantis. If you go in Early May or other non break times of the years the number of kids is relatively low. Although you do have to consider that Atlantis is fundamentally a family type resort.

Don't think so, I spoke to others that went to Atlantis at other times and still lots of kids and general mayhem. Who goes on vaca in early May or early December? Those are the lowest travel times of the year.

Lots of people go in early May. Those like yourself who don't want a lot of kids around. You never spoke to anyone who went in early May. I have been there then five times and there were very few kids around the pools, etc..

In fact the capacity is so low you seem to have the place to yourself. There are no lines for anything.

So it sounds like the two options are:

$120 Full Atlantis Day Pass (Beaches, Pools, Restaurants)

$69 Atlantis Beach Pass (Beaches, Beach Activities, Lunch Voucher, Restaurants near the Beach)

We are passing through via cruise ship June 5th (9am - 2pm) and are trying to figure out where to spend our time on Paradise Island. I'm leaning towards the $69 Beach Pass as long as there is a Beach Bar, chairs, towels, showers ect.

The Atlantis Beach Pass does NOT include showers. Towels and lounge chairs are included.
