Bahamas in May

Just curious would the month of May be a good time to visit Bahamas? this would be middle of May.

Any worries of storms at this time?

Would it be very busy here? thanks

May is a nice month to visit. Water will be warming up, and it's the pause between spring break and the summer season. The "rainy season" starts around the second to last week of the month. Hurricane season doesn't start until June 1st, so no concerns with tropical storms.

My husband and I go to the Bahamas every May and we rarely have bad weather. However, about 3 years ago we went into town and there was big storm - the bus did not want to drop us in front of the hotel as the road was like a pond so we ended up with a free tour around the island. By the time we got back to the hotel the water was gone and the sun was out.
