Is it worth the price to stay at Atlantis hotels? Seems like a beautiful place but what about crowds? and meals? 3 teenagers would be traveling with us.

Children and teens love Atlantis. Adults can also have fun. We go there w/teens so that we can have OUR evenings and they can have theirs (club rush or movies). If we went to bahamas w/o teens we would go to outer islands or cable beach. Personally, I feel that Paradise Island is very safe, so I feel secure doing "our" nightlife thing while they do theirs. We do daytime things together. Ours have benn to nice places in Cancun, St. Thomas Puerto Rico, and various places in Fla. and prefer the Atlantis to all. Atlantis is very touristy and pricey, but pack some sncaks...don't eat 3 square meals on the premesis and you'll do okay. Try it once...if it doesn't work don't go back.

You can stay at the Comfort Suites across the street and still have full access to the The Atlantis. They are usually much cheaper.

Unfortunately, they only allow 4 to a room, as with most rooms, even at Atlantis.

Harbourside might be a better bet, some of their condos hold 5 people. They are part of Atlantis so they also have full access.

You can check the atlantis website for pricing and policies, then head to ebay or one of the condo websites like redweek to see if there's something available. You don't have to be a timeshare owner to rent there.
