Arriving on Monday to Nassau. How is the weather. It has rain for the entire week. Wish I could find local weather forecast. If someone could let me know that would be great.

1. Re: Weather

July is in the rainy season in the

Bahamas. This season runs from

around May 22 thru the end of October.

The humidity is very high during this

time. With all that moisture there is

a good chance of a daily downpour

lasting from minutes to hours

somewhere on the island you are on.

While it most likely won't rain every

day or all day, the risk of rainfall is

highest during the rainy season in

the Bahamas.

In addition, tropical storms during the

hurricane season from June thru

November bring more rain.

Accuweather, IMHO, has the most

accurate forecasts. You can read

the current weather and forecasts

for Nassau here:

Hit and miss thunderstorms, that's the norm. Rained all morning today, but cleared up for the afternoon and evening. Currently...partly cloudy, temp around 80, and very humid.

we just got back from 2 wonderful weeks on Great Exuma and Long Island. We had 2 overcast days out of 14 and one of those was b/c of the remnants of Chantal. We love the Bahamas in the summer.
