Honeymoon Suggestions

Hello!

We are looking (a bit in advance :) ) for an all inclusive for our honeymoon. We want the all inclusive so we are able to relax and not have to worry about the food and drinks. We're in our mid-late 20s and will be going in early July 2015. Preferably looking for an adults only resort, or one that is not geared toward families with young children. The beach (and nice water) are important to us, as is good food. We do like the option to do snorkelling and some tours, but it's not a necessity if the beach is great. We would love a jacuzzi or private plunge pool if we could get it. We are trying to stay around $5000/6000 but for something amazing we would increase the budget up to around $8000, for 7-10 nights.

We've been to Nassau a few times for a port day while cruising. If anyone has any suggestions they would be much appreciated!

Thank you in advance!

Sandals Royal Bahamian would meet your needs, but if you really want something special, and can afford the price tag, the One and Only Ocean Club (although not all inclusive) would be most memorable.

Definitely Sandals Royal Bahamian. My husband and I have been there twice and love it. I haven't been to the other sandals in the Bahamas but have heard it's even nicer. The Emerald one. I'm drawing a blank on the name right now.

That would be Sandals Emerald Bay on Great Exuma. It's in a much less crowded place than Nassau. We recently went there on a day pass a couple of times while staying nearby, and enjoyed the food, pools and atmosphere. The beach is very nice for swimming and water sports (if the wind isn't howling out of the East as it was while we were there) and you can walk a long distance both North and South on the beach from the resort. There aren't a lot of real all-inclusives in the Bahamas as there are in the DR, Jamaica and Mexico.

Hello!

Thanks for the suggestions. We've looked at both the Sandals properties in Bahamas and really liked the look and offerings at both.... Are only concern is the time of year we are going... Is July typically rainy / stormy in The Bahamas? We've looked at numerous average weather sites, which all say rain, but, we've travelled to places where July is said to be rainy and the weather has been beautiful. We just don't want it to rain the whole trip! (Even though that's out of our control...) :)
