atlantis question...

can you go to atlantis and pay for a day just to swim and pay to see the aquarium, or do you have to stay at their resort?

You can get a day pass for the aquariums, but it does not allow you into the pools/waterpark. Sometimes they do sell day passes for the waterpark, but not if they are at occupancy of 90% or more, which is most of the time.

yes, this is strange, some days the sign was up for beach break, some days it was just for the DIGS, and others they offered a Day Pass. Go figure. Even this week they had tons of "outsiders" from the cruiseships and other hotels. Don't know where they got their passes. But we met quite a few people not from the hotel.

If you stay at the comfort suites you can have full access to the Atlantis. A digs pass is $29.00. You can see some of the aquariums and the casino without purchasing a digs pass. When I called the Atlantis I was told there were no day passes but you could get a day room for $200 for up to four people that allowed full access to the facilities

How did you get in touch with the atlantis? I thought about booking a room for the day but it was like 500 bucks for the day.

Atlantis is 242-363-3000

FYI, I called the breezes at: 242-327-5356 and was told the day pass was $60.00 per person. These passes must be purchased at the resort and can not be purchased in advance. This includes a buffet lunch and drinks and full use of the facilities except no room. Did not ask about transfers as I read you can catch the number 10 bus for $1.00.

Per scuba girl “Breezes is an adults only resort complex with pool, nice beach, drinks and food.. and some non-motorized water toys.

Atlantis is a waterpark filled with kids with non-stop "things to do". Slides, pools, lazy river, several beaches and lagoons etc.

Where are you staying? Depending on your needs, I would definitely check out Comfort Suites -- you'll get access to everything at Atlantis. There is no way to truly do everything in one day.

Have fun.
