Nassau's Must do's

I just booked a last minute cruise (my first )which leaves May 3. The first stop is in Nassau and will only last 9 hours. We were thinking of doing the pearl island treasure hunt & snorkeling, has anyone done this recently? If, so what did you think and is it worth it? Any other suggestions on "must do's" would be appreciated. We only have a short time in Nassau and are looking to get the most out of it

Senor Frogs is right near the British Colonial Hilton.

You surely haven't given up the Cricket Club for Senor Frogs have you - or do you divide your time 50 - 50?

I hope you are checking your e-mail on the ship, because people are responding to your post long after you have sailed.

Unless you are a confirmed alcoholic, or a college student, I can't see spending 9 hours at Senior Frogs.

If you only have 9 hours, I would suggest the 1/2 day Stuart Cove's snorkelling, or the 1/2 day Flying Cloud catamaran. Stuart Cove's is at least a 30 minute bus ride each way, which will eat into your time. The Flying Cloud leaves from Paradise Island, under the bridge (10 min ferry ride or 4 min taxi)

The rest of the day.....perhaps shopping on Bay St. and/or the $3 ferry ride to Atlantis, and/or the public beach.

Really, 9 hours just isn't enough time to do it all.

Don't miss the ship when it sails.
