A few basic questions for a group of guys

We are having a bachelor party in Nassau in late June at the Wyndham hotel. I have a few questions..

1. Besides Senor Frogs, what are some other fun bars for a group of guys to go to and party? Looking for a young crowd and women.

2. What is the best booze cruise company we should look into?

3. We want to go to one nice dinner...somewhere with very good seafood, but not stuffy...a place where 12 guys could have fun at a big table and not draw too much attention. Any ideas?

4. I understand June is the rainy season...how bad is it really? I am wondering if we will see the sun! :)

Thanks!!!

1. Treat yourself to a night-time pass at the nearby Breezes. Good ightly entertainment, plenty of booze and singles. Party moves to the disco at midnight and goes to 5.00 a.m. (maybe this is where you should be staying anyways)

2. The booze cruise departs from the beach near your hotel. There is a sales captain who walks the beach and sells tickets.

3. Twelve guys (you should be a jury) will tend to get a bit rowdy, even if your behavioural intentions are good. Try the Poop Deck (East Bay) or Columbus Tavern on Par. Island. Perhaps not the greatest food, but it might be a more comfortable atmosphere for a group of 12.

4. Sometimes the sky opens up and it rains buckets. Rain last about 1/2 hour and then the sky clears. That's the way it is in the Bahamas.

I agree with Tutman on most of his post. I think the Poop Deck West, which is closer to the Wyndham, would work for 12 guys and is only 5 minutes away. They also have a good bar up front and you could probably sit outside if need be. In the hotel there is a bar/lounge called 22 Above right at the top of the escalator from the casino. On many nights this is a good spot, especially if you have a group as people tend to gravitate to the crowd. As far as rain goes, don't worry; they call it liquid sunshine and there is no way to control mother nature. I've never been rained out an entire day. Just have fun!

Thanks for the tips! I had heard the Poop Deck was good so will look into getting a reservation for that.

I paid anywhere from 6-14 dollars for drinks,$6 for Kalik up to $14 for Captain Morgan. It sounds like you guys have some fun ideas,I wish I was down there partying with you.I was there in May.You do get free drinks when gambling at the casino which is nice.By the way the 14 bucks for rum and coke was at Aura in the Atlantis casino where everything is very expensive.Hope you guys have a good time!!!!

$6 and up for local Kalik beer?? Sounds like the NYC prices I pay every week! Dang, I was hoping for the $1-3$ beer specials in the islands! :)

For very good seafood the Poop deck can't deliver, but the setting is nice, Green Parrots on PI and by the bridge always have fresh mahi mahi and last night my bar tab for 2 miller lite was $9.50.

There is plenty of sun here we have had one rain since beginning of June.

winkdaddy,

Buy passes at Breezes for at least 1 day or night. I don't think you will regret your decision...........all the food and drink you can consume is included. At Breezes there is no tipping. I think you would get the most bang for your buck by doing that. There are discount coupons available in the "what to see and do" books which are free all over the island

If you get out of the resorts and into the local bars/liqour stores you may well come across some 2 for $5 specials on beers. Try the new local beer Sands, a lot of people prefer it to Kalik.
