The #10 bus will take you to at least Sandyport/Delaporte Point, that is the western end of Cable Beach. It all depends on the driver how far they'll go on the #10 route. You'll have to ask, some will go pass all the way to the Caves or Compass Point which is further west. As far as paying the return fare, that depends on the driver as well. Some don't have a problem with it as long as you ask. But, paying $1.25pp return fare for an about an hour or so bus ride is still a great value, you'll get a true taste of our public transit system. #10 is the best ride to take, as you'll see Ft. Charlotte, the harbor, fish fry, nice view of Cable Beach, and the different residences along the way.

Its not just the number 10. The busses all start and end in Nassau -though at different places - so you can see quite a lot of the island from the relatve safety of the bus. the driving techniques are interesting.

Its a great way to meet people and get away from the tourist corridor which is where the no 10 travels.

We have travelled on most of the routes and plan to tick off the remaining few on our next trip. We paid $4 for the of us for a round trip and had the pleasure of conversation from other passengers. Try asking a general question and you will get more than one answer usually contradicing each other. A real experience.
