where to Dine with teenagers/activities for 11 yr old

I am going to the harborside at the end of July. I will have children ages 16 -11 with us. Can anyone recommend places for dinner that is not to expensive but has great food. Also, can anyone give me suggestion what activities we can do with the 11 year old will other teens are at club rush.

The 11 yr old can go to club rush as well just for the earlier session. (4-7 pm I think). You could take him to a movie or walk the Marina with him while the older ones are at the Club...but he might just want to chill & relax at the condo by then.

As for dinner, on property, budget concsious places, I highly recommend Bimini Road...one of my favorties.

I have not eaten at these but in the past I see a lot of the families with tweens & teens at Johnny Rockets & Murrays Delicatessan.

Off property, the Fish Fry (local foods in local atmosphere) is a short cab ride away & there's an Outback even closer.

I agree with Murray's and Johnny Rockets.

Kids might like the Poop Deck. Just accross the bridge, turn left at the Outback. Not dirt cheap, but won't break the bank either.

Cafe Johnny Canoe at Cable Beach has a Junkanoo Parade on Fri. nite. Also not expensive, but you will need to take a cab there and back.

Check out the News Cafe and Zio Gigi at the Hurricane Hole Plaza, and the Green Parrot, just behind the Hurricane Hole.

There's a Hard Rock Cafe in Nassau. My 15 yr old wants to eat there. Carmine's is a family style italian place. I ate at the one in New York. One entree & one salad would feed a family. Reasonably priced. Green Parrot is also reasonable, just across the bridge.

I don't recommend Johnny Rocket's unless you don't have one where you live. Our teens had 2 cheese burgers, 2 sodas and split a 1/2 fry/1/2 onion ring for $36.00. Not worth it to me. Our teens enjoyed all of our dinners: Take out from Carmines, Bimini Road at Marina Village (Good First Night, Very Bahamian Feeling, Music Playing and in Marina Village which is neat in itself). Atlas Bar & Grill in the Casino. Fathom's and two buffets.

My hubby and I finally found Green Parrot the lst day, it's right on Paradise Island behind the hurricane hole shopping Center, across from Marina Village. Didn't eat there but drinks were awesome and not expensive. Heard food was great-- a lot of locals eat and drink there!

Forgot--Don't recommend Murray's Deli for a typical American sandwich and chips it is $13.00. We prefer to spend our money on local food we can't get home. Or at least a place that has "kid/teen friendly food" and Local more adult stuff!
