when is it?
College Spring Break ends in about 2 weeks. Grad school/high school breaks run thru the week after Easter (Easter is Apr 20 this year). This was a very long season.
Now. It is now.
Between Grade Schools all the way through College, it seems like Spring Break is almost 12 weeks long this year.
Hi IamNancy, yes it does seem to be going on forever this year...lol Probably because Easter is late. When are you thinking of going? We're going the beginning of June (third time going in June), this way the ocean is warmed up a bit and all kids aren't out for the summer yet. We found this a good time to go :)
princess - planning for early April - Riu Palace... was hoping not a lot of Spring Breakers -wild partying.. LOL
I think the beginning of April will be a little quieter this year. Because Easter is so late, spring breaks were scheduled for March. Some schools will have an Easter break, but that won't be until the middle of April. The week after Easter will still be busy, but everyone should be back in school by the end of April. The first few weeks of May will have way less kids since they'll be readying for exams. By the beginning of June, however, all of the colleges, and all of the schools down south (Florida for example) are closed, so it's time to celebrate graduation. If you're looking at a resort that caters to Spring Breakers, the last week of May and first week of June may not be a quiet time in the Bahamas.
Early April should be okay, I agree with SWFLAOK on that. But June is fine too (we've been in the beginning and the middle) and going this June again. All our schools up here won't be out till around third week of June.
