I know on the beach :) but any good happy hours, local hang outs, or places that draw crowds?

Sure, lots of them.

Redbeard's, Banana Bay, Sandbar, Tony Macaroni's, Billy Joe's, Coral Reef, Corner Bar, Rum Runners, Sabor, Taino Beach, Junkanoo Beach Club, Paradise Cove, Straw Bar at Old Bahama Bay, Grand Bahama Yacht Club, Neptune's, Bahama John's, Sparky's, Garden of the Groves, Bishop's, Diamonds by the Sea and Dive Inn to name a few.

Crowd often depends on the night (or day) too - for example, Sunday evening Tony Macaroni's has jazz on the beach, so that is more popular that night. Friday evening, Coral Reef has a smoker going, so it tends to be busier that night. Yacht Club also busier on Fridays because of their special menu. Garden of the Groves has music on Fridays so popular then. Neptune's, Sparky's and Corner Bar are more popular on Fridays and Saturdays when there are more people at Port Lucaya. Banana Bay is quite popular on Sunday afternoons, while Sandbar is popular for football and music some Sunday evenings. And so on...
