Walk right across the street. It runs from the east end of the Grand Lucayan Resort for nearly a mile to the west before you hit a canal. It continues on the other side of the canal.

You will cross the street and then hang a right and walk down the street past the Police Station. There just before the bus stop you'll see a sign pointing to the beach access. Follow the sign and walk down next to the police station to the beach. Takes about 10 minutes walking from the place the taxis/shuttles drop you at Port Lucaya. If you have taken a private taxi, you can just ask them to drop you at the beach entrance. You can't access through the Grand Lucayan anymore, they'll try to charge you.

You can't access the beach through the resort without paying for a day pass. There is a barricade and they will stop you to check your registration with the hotel or collect the day pass fee.
