The Ritz Beach Resort

Can anyone tell me if there are restaurants near the Ritz to eat dinner at without having to go by ferry? How about casinos?

There is one on the resort. The service is questionable at best and the menu is not expansive at all. I would HIGHLY suggest getting ferry passes and do most if not all dining in Port Lucaya. The only casino on the island can also be found there.

versed911, are guests able to use the facilities at the beach at the Ritz for a fee? Is this considered Taino Beach?

Guests at Ritz Beach can use the beach/pool/etc. Although I have never seen anyone being asked to show proof of staying there, it is a fairly secluded area and I wouldn't expect outsiders to wander in.

Versed, do you know what the passes for the ferry cost? Can you purchase them for the whole week, or do you need to pay separately each time you take the ferry?

Thanks for all the help.

Back in 2004 - you could buy the whole week for $25 pp. Now you can only buy them one at a time. I think it is $5 for each round trip per person. Hope that helps.
