Miami to Congo Town

Hi All, we are planning a wedding next Easter (2011) and have been watching the flight prices from UK to Nassau. They have risen 325% from March 30th to April 2011, thank you British Airways. So now we are considering flying via Miami, a much more reasonable price, but can't seem to find any flights, regular or otherwise, from Miami to Congo Town. There are plenty of options from Fort Lauderdale, but the flights from UK to Ft L go via 2 or 3 stops and it takes forever. Can anyone recommend how we,(Up to now a party of 6 family members), can go about getting to South Andros.... with as little hassle as possible?

Many thanks.

1. Re: Miami to Congo Town

a really great way and often very cost effective is to fly to new york and then get a jetblue flight onwards to nassau. it is also very cost effective The beauty is there are so many airlines that fly in there you can get good prices. Also these are 3 flights a day from NY to Nassau the one which leaves at 1115 gets in around 115pm connects beautifully with the western air flight to congo town at 300pm.

dont forget that it is only approx 20 min taxi ride from miami to fort lauderdale to make the connect.
