Spending money for two weeks in Krabi?

Can anyone offer any insight into how much we are likely to spend on our hols? Rough itinerary for two adults include -

9 nights B&B in Krabi (already paid for)

3 nights B&B in Phangan (already paid for)

So bed & breakfast for 2 weeks already sorted - then we have to pay for -

Lunch for 13 days - we're happy with cheapy stuff here so what kind of prices are we looking at for light lunches for 2 weeks?

Dinner for 13 days - we're looking at 50/50 cheapy meals/nice restaurant meals - any ideas?

Alcohol/soft drinks - Are we talking European style prices for tourists or is it cheaper?

Activities - Full Moon Party - any ideas on how much two adults (moderate drinkers) are likely to spend here?

Phi Phi island tour - will book when we get there, any rough estimates?

Elephant trek - again prices there or should we book this in advance?

Phangan trip to marine park?

Other stuff .... kayaking? jet ski hire? massage?

Any other ideas welcome! :-)

Food and drink wise, think of what you usually spend on holiday and half it. We did not plan it that way, that is just just how it worked out for us.

Yep Gary got it right. Even for theUS we only plan on $100 per day....you could probably get away with100 a week in Thailand (Not likeLondon with our party animal Londoner-mate who helped us get thruour weeks allocation in a day)....!

Last trip we did not scimp, allocated $1500 for 12 daysandwent home with $500....which wesupplemented by getting all our duty free on the way out and collecting at homeairport upon return.

Thanks for the replies - sounds all very re-assuring :-D We're not actually taking ANY spending money - we're just taking the debit card and spending as and when we would at home so I'm just hoping we don't bleed the bank dry :-D

I hope you know how much it costs you to use ATM's, if you've decided to take no cash & purely rely on taking money out when you need it.

Hi , on a trip like that , for two people , I'd say budget min £80 per day , lunch , dinner and a few beers in normal restaurants are going to cost you £30 each, that only leaves £20 to cover taxi, boat trips and other things ,like flip flops ,sun screen, massages, and the odd ice cream :) , I'm just back , I drink only a few beers each day , sandwich n coffee for lunch , and a bit of dinner each evening. Now if you want to eat street food and drink bolted water ,you will do it cheaper.but it is a holiday , cheers
