We (two adutls with an 11-year-old) are planning a trip to Mexico either for the end of March or end of June.
We are looking for a destination in Mexico with a nice beach and fun excursions. Horseback-riding and wildlife/animals are two big interests. We do not mind if wildlife means visiting an animal park as long as you get really close to the animals (we have done the dolphin encounters so we are not looking for that) but visitng a junglearea would also be nice. Snorkeling would be great and possibly other wateractivities, maybe river tubing or something like that.
Tips on other activities/excursions in Mexico would be appreciated. By the way, kids activities are NOT important as this is quality family time and our daughter will be joining us in everything.
We prefer a destination on the East Coast of Mexico as we live in New York.
Recommendations on a nice hotel (ideally reasonable priced) with great surroundings (again, some wildlife would be great!). Either all-inclusive or not (we maybe would want to mix it up).
