The average life expectancy of a cyclist in Acapulco is less than that of a paratrooper in Vietnam. (Plus it's too hot!)
French Boy..I have noticed that and wondered the same thing. On my last trip though, I was nearly mauled down by a large team of bicyclists either practicing or racing on Lomas del Mar.
Driving with Ismael we saw some bicyclist's almost wiped out! I think unless you're an expert in traffic it would not be a good idea...
I'm sure a bike messenger from NYC would zip through the traffic. Come to think of it..I've never seen a bike store either aside from bikes being sold at WalMart. Definitely not a great place to go biking unless that bike comes with a motor..
I've seen a few on the escenica, and there is a bike path on the way to Bonfit which might be a fun ride and it's safe. I agree with Need, the only ones that would stand a chance in the traffic are the bike messengers from NYC.
thats about the only place i would ever ride a bike rolynn.......loco drivers ......not advisable.....barb saw it with her own eyes.......wont catch me riding along the costera thats for sure........lol.....zzaa
