Rolynn, did you feel that one??

Just about a minute ago Acapulco experienced an earthquake IMO about a 5.something. The whole house shook and I thought it was going down but weçre still here. Did you feel it Rolynn+

And as if Mexico City didn't already have enough problems with being the epicenter of that new strain of flu, it seems that they just had a bigass earthquake there too:

It was the same earthquake - epicenter was Acapulco. No reported damage in Mexico City (according to Mexican television news). My house in Acapulco is still standing but it was a big one.

This one was a doozy, strongest I´ve felt since I´ve lived here. I can definately do without those. It´s so weird that while you´re walking the house is tilting.

That was the strongest earthquake I have ever felt in Acapulco. We just finished an inspection of the port, minor damage, a few very confused guests. For most they had no clue what was happening, since they had never experienced a quake.

Now back to work, contacting tour operators to make sure guests are ok.

It's already on the news here....They sure didn't waste anytime. I just got off the phone with a lady friend in Acapulco and she's telling me this was the most scary earthquake she had ever experienced. She lives out by the Princess so I don't have any updates about what's going on in the Bay area just yet. I hope everyone is safe. Scary times
