Diego Rivera Murals

Walked by them yesterday and they are still an excellent example of Diego Rivera's talent.

The house is occupied and I was told that for a small tip one can see the artwork inside and I will return in the near future and see if I can enter.

I would like to see the art inside as well;...maybe on the way to La Cabana?

..and I was told that Carlos Slim and his associates bought the house to save the murals. Another good thing for Acapulco.

It was mentioned in late 2012, the possibility of Slim putting a restaurant inside.

I think if all the rumors of his purchases are true, the town will soon be renamed Slimapulco!

Maybe someone can add to this list - the involvement on CS.

Boca Chica

Caleta Hotel.

The Prominade on the Costera.

Casablanca - converting to Condos

The Diego Rivera mural.

Rumored offer on Los Flamingos - rejected by the Santiago family.

I know there were a couple more hotel conversions to condos that people say he is involved in.

Anyone know of anything else?

Casa blanca for sure? I heard the work there had stopped. Can't imagine that if he owned it.

Well, Truck, I do know that some of the restaurant owners in Caletilla went to Mexico City for an injunction on the road construction, there, over Christmas 2012. (construction sponsored by Mr. Slim?). Little battles sometimes slow things down.
