Huatulco in November

We are planning a 1 week November vacation to Huatulco - probably Brisas. Wondering when to go - early or later November. Hope to do lots of snorkeling. Thanks for any advice - want to book soon.

Hi Skooter,

I wanted to go in Nov. as it is still green after the rainy season. Booked January instead, but maybe next November! This thread is older, but helpful.

November in Huatulco is awesome. If you go before Thanksgiving, you can take advantage of low season rates, the weather is perfect, everything is still green, and it is not crowded but there is still plenty going on.

Nov 20 is Revolution Day. 2 parades. One the evening before the day of celebration by the small children. On the celebration day a large parade starting around 8AM. Takes about 3 hours for the whole parade to pass. not to be missed if you are here then.

And of course, every day in Huatulco is pretty darn special too.

Hola.

We LOVE being in Huatulco in November!!

The rainy season has just ended and the flora and fauna are alive and in splendor and all aglow with every color of the rainbow. The rivers run and the waterfalls gush making water-based sports in the mountains much more lively than during the drier months.

Further, La Revolución Mexicana (Mexican Revolution) which lasted from 1910-1917 is celebrated with parades and fireworks. A few years ago in November was the 100th anniversary of the Mexican Revolution and we attended the children’s parade in Huatulco (La Crucecita) that celebrated the event, see:

Hope this helps. Your questions are always welcome.

Abrazos,

Matt

Thanks for the all the info. Sounds like November will be great. As the rainy season is just ending should we wait and go closer to the middle/end of the month?

We have had great weather at the end of October. November is usually no problem with regard to rain.
