Is there a pool at the Mision de Los Arcos?
Thank you.
Last I heard, no, although there were plans to build one of the roof if I am not mistaken.
It is a great small hotel with a wonderful location right in the center of town.
Thank you.
No pool as yet, that is their plan! not sure when it will happen, we have stayed Mision de Los Arcos 4 times the last being March 2013, great hotel, great location and very reasonable pricing, I highly recommend this hotel, great staff and extremely helpful and friendly owners.

Edited: 07 September 2013, 18:28We are returning this winter for our 3rd stay at this hotel. As the others have said there is no pool. We NEVER missed a pool as the other aspects of this lovely hotel far outweighed what some may see as negative with no pool. The hotel is a very inexpensive cab ride ($5.60 peso) to our favorite beach La Entrega. They also have an arrangement with the beach club at Chahue for their guests. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely hotel to anyone pool or not.
P.S. I'm sure that I misspelled the two beaches. Sorry.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Any updates on building a pool?
"They also have an arrangement with the beach club at Chahue for their guests."
- How far is this beach club and do they have a pool?
We have been told that there will not be a pool built on the Mision de Los Arcos roof. Huatulco is in an "earth tremor" zone (much like Los Angeles)….a roof top pool might involve some costly maintenance.
The beach at Chahue is a 20 minute stroll or 5 minute taxi ride from the MdLA. At Chahue, there is a public beach club; entrance is free, but they may charge a reasonable minimum on food. There is also a private beach club owned by the Castillo Hotel; there is usually a higher (but still reasonable) entrance fee and/or minimum cover charge.
