How far is it to San Agustinillo from Secrets? What is the best way to get there?

Say 90 minutes. Taxi is easy. Bus involves a few stops then a taxi or colectivo the last few miles. How much for a taxi? I'd guess 600 pesos give or take.

We paid 500 pesos from Barcelo last year. That included them waiting and then back to Barcelo.

Lots of options to get from Secrets to San Agustinillo- best bet is to negotiate with local taxi drivers, maybe get to the main town of Huatulco ( La Crucieta / Santa Maria because most likely if you try to solicit a taxi at the hotel the taxi drivers will all gather and hold to their "set prices". Last year we took a cab from the Super Che Grocery store to San Agustinillo for $30.00 from a taxi driver that was looking for any business he could find- but more realistically it should cost you around $50.00 each way.

Well worth the time and money for you to discover the wonderful beach village of San Agustinillo, maybe grab a small bag and stay overnight at a modest beach hut to make the trip more worthwhile.

A site that i highly recommend about San Agustinillo is www.gosanagustinillo.com

Have a fantastic Mexican holiday in Oaxaca and the spectacular Pacific Coastal village of San Agustinillo!
