Where's the Beef? or Pork or . . .

DH, most unfortunately, is not a seafood lover. Kinda funny when DS is a commercial fisherman dont ya think? Anyway, I'm wondering what restaurants are particularly noted for their non-seafood dishes? Pork is totally fine as well as beef. And yes he does eat chicken as well. :-)

What are your fave places?

Fear not - there are lots of great places to get something other than seafood, though from my experience, it's much easier to find chicken than pork.

El Marinero is a great place for non seafood meals. El Vaquero has been great in the past and might be again, though it was hugely disappointing this spring. Wings army does great chicken wings. There are tons more, but I haven't had my morning coffee yet. :) I'll try again later!

El Fogon has Molcajete's..... So good. DH goes for a basic every animal shoved in, while I enjoy the Chicken. Really good. Chiplotes was quite enjoyable, and burgers & Bevys on the beach at El Tablo = an amazing afternoon!

So excited to be heading back!

I second the Molcajete's at El Fogon. Godzilla's has good burgers and other types of meat. There's a place on the other blvd that used to be called "The Ranch" that makes really good chamorros (pigs leg) but I can't remember the name of the place at the moment. I'll take a drive by and find out. Most places that serve seafood also have a couple chicken or beef dishes.

TY Faolan. Molcajete's sound good. Keep meaning to buy one to bring home. Seems I always have 'weight issues'. :-) Are pigs legs/chamorros like a loin roast or do they serve you the ENTIRE leg?

Not a burger person myself but DH would likely be very happy with that.

I haven't tried this myself but plan to this year.

It gets excellent reviews.
