My husband and I got back on the 2/26 and we had great weather and the hotel was very nice. When we checked in the lobby was pretty busy. The front desk guy who helped us told us he had to upgrade us to a suite because the hotel was so full of time share owners, which he did and it was very nice. One thing about the PB properties is they have a lot of Palm trees on the properties. Unfortunately they block the ocean views. We found that the 2nd floor and the 5th floor were best for not having the view blocked and if you can get a room between 2004-2007 or 5004-5007 for instance the view won't usually be blocked if that is important to you.Best way to prevent that is ask to view the room before packing your luggage up to the room. The resturant is very nice but expensive. We took a taxi $10US to the Mega Market and puchased our liquor (no liquor at the stores on Sunday),breakfast stuff eggs-bacon-bread-pastries. You have to get a tray and put your pastries and rolls on it and take it to the counter they will bag it up for you. You can get lunch meats, cheese, pretty much anything you want. Th PB has a nice kitchen area. We took a collapseable cooler but they have them there you can buy.You might want to throw in blue ice for your cooler and lots of zip-lock bags for ice for drinks and sandwiches. Remember you aren't in the states and they don't have clean safe to walk on streets(big holes and uneven sidewalks). If you want a good spot on the beach or at the pool be sure to get your towels on a chair by 6:30 a.m. PB hasa nice Deli and Internet Cafe, good lattes but also coffee maker, micro. Take insulated drinking cup for hot and cold.
Binoculars are a must. The pigeons are very brave they will walk right in to your room if you leave the screen on the balcony open. Nice place and friendly staff. When you get to the airport and you pick up your luggage and you don't want to deal with the timeshare people ( they are relentless). Go directly to the outside and look for a booth. Just say no thank you to all the people that try to get you to stop they will say things like,"What hotel are you staying atl, you need to talk to this guy". NO NO NO. Go out to the ticket booth the lady will sell you your ticket for your taxi and it will be about $25US.
