What are you current visitors finding on air fare from USA gateways.? Fares look quite a bit higher than last year. 700.00 RT PP. from Atlanta.
Yep the are high & getting higher & it won't get any better any time soon.
I always wait for the price of fuel to drop then book our flights, it might be a long time before that happens this year.
Believe it or not, it is about $700 from PHX...a mere 2 hours from MZT.
I think the airline prices are what's keeping people from flying to Mexico more than any talks of violence. They're just not offering many flights; and the flights they are offering are very expensive. It won't stop us but it's definitely frustrating and depressing.
Just checked with US Air - price is still about the same, 544.00 RT/PP
Airfare is out of control!! Thankfully I can get some buddy passes from a Delta employee. MI ot Maz (through Houston @ $268. :)Edited: 06 April 2011, 02:22
For any one living in the American Southwest ck out the Volaris Air website. If you can book your trip 4-6 months in advance you can get some great deals. They fly out of several U.S. cities but the best deals are flying out of Tijuana for those in so-cal. They have a special on the website every day so if you ck it regularly you can find up to 50% off. Once again the best prices come from booking as early as possible. We booked our May mazatlan trip 5 months in advance and are paying 1980s prices.
