Puerto Vallarta and Nightlife

Traveling to PV in July, stayig at the Melia. Because of the swine flu is the nightlife a little down? What are my options at night?

Information would be greatly appreciated!!!

What swine flu? It's everywhere but here now. It's too hot for any kind of flu, swine or not. Australia and other places that are in "winter" are experiencing an outbreak but here, the only illness we have are hangovers.

Sadly though we are trying to mend from the mass media hype that literally killed tourism here. Do you know we had six, yes, six cases of swine flu in Vallarta. No deaths, just the flu and all are fine, alive and kicking.

Thigs are slow, yes, but they usually are in the slower season until the kids here get out of school and then the Mexican Nationals come here on Vacation.

Similar to how people from Ohio go to Florida on summer vacation.

Long story short, everything is open, people are in the clubs but not like they are in March- which in reality is a good thing!

Go to the Malecon, especially on the weekend and party. Tons of bars and restaurants and all are open sevn days a week.

Have fun!
