You'll likely find them all over downtown and the south side.

There are lots of them around town that sell the streamers and decorations, and many that sell the catrina dolls.

Were you looking for one store in particular?

Looking more for the party type decorations. Melissa's restaurant had a couple of lifesize cardboard jointed skeltons dressed in Catrina or Day of the Dead style that I liked.

I don't know of one specifically that sells those, so I would dedicate some time to wander the el centro area to look for the shop noted - or perhaps go back to the shopkeeper who told you about it and ask for an address or a street, or even a shop name.

As noted, lots of stores around town carry the decorations.

This is a guess.....it jogged my memory when you mentioned Melissa's. When we were leaving Melissa's one night I noticed that right across the street there was a paper/party store. Wow it is soooo possible that's where Melissa's got their skeletons. Good luck on your search. :-)

Papeleria Limon on Carranza often has the decorations for whatever festivity is coming... also there is a paper/party store on the Fluvial road on the way to Costco. It is called Party Land.

Yes, the candy store across the street from Melissa's also have the sugar skulls for Day of the Dead. There is also a candy store across the street from the 2 story flea market that has them also.
