I hear you. We arrive at 1:30pm tomorrow and saw on weather.com, thunderstorms starting about 12 noon and also on Sunday and Monday. I usually don't pay too much attention to the reports but since we're flying in we're also wondering what to expect.

Last rain was two nights ago, and it was apparently only in certain areas (we had buckets on the lower south side). Humidity down considerably from last week. Sun is blazing hot, don't forget a hat and sunscreen, seriously. I've seen plenty of lobster skin around town the last few days...

Just curious if the "switch" has flipped yet - is it still humid and summer type hot in PV? Four more sleeps!!!!!

Got an email from a friend yesterday who said the humidity has been up and down, but yesterday that it was back with a "vengeance".

So I do not think it has flipped yet.

That kid is going to get a smack to the noggin if he doesn't cut it out. LOL

The last couple of days it's been really hot, and the breeze even down at the water has been negligible, which makes it even warmer. Then like magic around 6pm it socks in with clouds as though it's going to rain, but it never pans out. So that makes it just stifling in some areas...if the rain would actually come it would make it more comfortable.

Last night was not very comfortable. Places with A/C and fans were packed, places without were not. (-;

Thanks for the replies. We are hoping for cooler weather but either way we will be in beautiful PV :)

Hopefully "the kid" will stop messing with the switch before we get there - ha!

I stepped out of my room onto my pool deck this morning around 10:30 with a cup of coffee, and the heat/stickiness smacked me in the face. It is another scorcher today. Hats, sunscreen, and cool cloths are the order of the day.

My decorated hand fans that I habitually carry in October are the envy of many a person right now...even the locals are mopping faces and talking about how warm it is.
