Transportation to and from airport & timeshare gauntlet

We will be traveling to PV in March as a family of 5 with small children. Can you recommend the best way for us to get to our resort (Paradise Village) and back to the airport?

Also what is the best way to get through the timeshare gauntlet when you have children with you?

Same as everyone else :) seriously... just walk on thru and don't get involved. Give a little wave of your hand if someone tried to approach you. I always just use an airport taxi, purchase ticket at booth in lobby, for your number they'd probably put you in a van.

Welcome to trip adviser.

Read the FAQ's in the upper right for some good info on the airport taxis and the timeshare. With 3 kids, get a porter after the red/green light and he will wisk you right to the taxis. Tip him about 50 pesos.

For 5 with luggage, you will need a van. 520 pesos for the van. Return trip will be about 2/3 that price. If you pay in pesos, you get a better deal as the stands only give a 10 to 1 exchange rate. Paradise Village will call you a van for the return trip.

As you've noticed above, the airport taxi's or vans are more than a regular taxi, that's because they're federal. So, taxi and taxi van prices hereon out will be cheaper.

I like the porter idea, I think that will make it very easy for you. The timeshare tank is less than a 10 second walk, but the porter will help you so much.

We went through with our 2 young kids recently. We told them about the shark tank beforehand, but having never been there before we weren't quite sure what to expect. I thought it was a bit of a joke, 2 rows of 10 or so guys that you walk through. They try and get your attention, but just keep your eyes forward and you're done in about 5 steps
