Golf

We will be in PV in the Hotel Zone for 9 days starting 1/14. We will want to play a round or two of golf during our stay. Any suggestions

Club de Golf is in the marina area (about10 minutes away). Vista Vallarta has 2 courses (one each designed by Nichlaus and the other by Weiskoff). They are newer and about 1/2 hour away. There are also a couple in Nuevo (about 45 minutes away).

Seems I read in a golf magazine that there are now 7 courses in Vallarta area.

I've played the Marina and Flamingo, both are "very" nice courses

Be down on the 19th and hope to play a couple rounds myself.

Enjoy

Stay away from Flamingo you will not like it mostly locals play there. Vista Vallarta has 2 courses and the most popular, Marina is the close and nice. If you want to get your butt kicked go to El Tigra.

If you have any questions about golf in the area just ask. I have played every course in the area over the years.

If you golf and just not play golf then El Tigra is your place.

Yes, I like El Tigra a lot . If any of you are planning of playing there do your self a favor and play a forward tee. See to many people playing to far back and it ruins there fun. Don't be proud play 1 tee up from where you think you should play

Mark

Thanks for the website re courses & pricing. Any idea of cost of club rental at the marina course?

Is course within walking distance to Mayan Palace Marina?

Bit far to walk but a bus would work well. For all the information on Marina course go to.
