My cousin and his partner are joining us in March (I'm so excited, cause he's my favorite person!) and they're traveling carry-on, and he's interested in taking the bus from the airport to the south side.
I'll check on what type of carry-ons they'll have plus personal bag, but for now I just need to know what to tell them to do. Their plane arrives at 11:50 on a Monday, so I'm assuming the bus might not be too crowded in early afternoon.
The quote at the end is what I found in a search, and it's per Marly...so I'm checking to see if anything has changed...like the color of the bus for one thing.
Questions first - the bus stop is right under the pedestrian bridge, is that correct? And does this bus end up at the terminal at Pino Suarez ?
<"the bus from the airport to the Hotel Zone and to the southside is the same, as long as you are taking the regular blue city bus (not the ATM or other).
From the airport (with light luggage, as there is no room for anything that doesn't fit on your lap), the best buses to take going south, to the south of Rio Cuale, would say IXTAPA or MOJONERAS on their top banner. They would also say CENTRO in the lower front window but, as we've discussed on this thread, that doesn't guarantee the route you'll travel. Just take the buses with the banners I suggest.">
