guided tours

When we were in Manzanillo last year we were able to hire a private taxi/guide for the week which worked out great with a 5 year old and 2 year old. This year we will be traveling with a 6 year old and 3 year old and I have found 3 different possibilities, but was wondering if anyone had any personal experience with any? Or perhaps have other recommendations?

I met Pablo Mendizabal 3 years ago when he picked me up so I could participate in the first annual bird count on the Lagoon in Barra de Potosi.

I found him intelligent, extremely knowledgeable with excellent English skills with a real love of Nature. I have worked with him several times since & I highly recommend him.

Ulises! He was amazing during our recent trip. I posted pics of him in my trip photos thread. Ulises@ketavi.com

You will not be sorry. He lives in Barra and has been in business for 13 years. He's very gracious. He drove us from the airport to Comercial, to our condo. To Barra. Back to the airport. We had plans for Troncones but the guys decided they didn't want to go. Even when we canceled the night before, Ulises was sweet about it. If you contact him, tell him los bomberos and Jenny say hola. :)
