Seems to me one could kayak or google and get an answer in seconds, United flies from MFR to LAX and LAX to BJX.....easy
Hi,
The nearest airport to Guanajuato is BJX.
At the airport, you can get a taxi to Guanajuato. There is a taxi kiosk inside the airport where you pay the fare and get a ticket for the taxi. Be aware that many of the drivers are Leon cab drivers and may not know all the streets in Guanajuato, so be sure to have your hotel's address and directions.
Have a great trip!

Thanks Cindi. Very helpful for someone who doesn't do a lot of trip planning.
You're quite welcome!
I suppose you know that Guanajuato is Ashland's sister city?

We found direct routes from LAX to BJX to be quite reasonable in price.
It seems like the OP poster has the same travel problems as we do, living far from a major airport. It looks like from Ashland, OR, they would have to fly out of Medford to BJX, at a cost of $800+. Here in Grand Junction, CO the flight is also $800+, while from Los Angeles to BJX it is $400+. Even Toronto, Ontario to BJX is only $600+. Of course they could save a few hundred by driving to Portland (280 mi), or we could save by driving to Denver (250 mi), but that eats up a full day or more of your vacation. We tried that once. For us it is easier to bite the bullet and pay $800 because we can schedule 6 to 8 hour flights with just one connection, that put us in Guanajuato mid afternoon, and our flight home leaves around noon. Sorry, too much detail, but the bottom-line is that paying more makes the travel painless.
