You'll be about a block away from El Bajio

which is famous for offering traditional Mexican food in a more upscale setting. The prices aren't bad, either. The breakfasts are particularly satisfying.

Most of the good places to eat are along ish walk or a short hop by cab.

Los almendros has food from the Yucatan. Izote for alta cocina mexicana by one of its pioneers, Patricia Quintana. Fishers is a seafood chain but very lively especially at lunchtime and the quality is good. Check the TA restaurant review section for these and others.

Dulce Patria at the corner of Anatole France and Masaryk (five minutes in a taxi, less than 20 walking) is one of the "in" spots for Mexican food. Artful and creative. Worth trying.

Hi stylishtrvler,

of the above restaurants try Bajio for breakfast just across the street from W hotel, this restaurant is run by Chef Carmen “Titita” Ramirez and for dinner do not miss Dulce Patria run by Martha Ortiz that every dish is a piece of art !
