curious if there are DVD players in room? Just in case of rain.
The Palace website doesn't say there are but thought I had heard people here on TA mention them...

No, there aren't any. I don't know if you could rent them though.
No DVD player but there were 3-4 movie channels. My husband and I were at the Sun Palace last week and watched about 4 movies as it did rain a few mornings and 1 afternoon.
when it rains we shop and hit little dive bars- rain does not last long
