sun palace rooms

I'm looking to book a week at Sun Palace. What is the difference between junior suite & superior deluxe? Should I request a specific floor? Any suggestions would be great.

Main difference is that junior suite has the jacuzzi closer to the balcony and usually a step down to it, superior deluxe has the bed closer to the balcony and no step. Some people like the 6th floor for the larger balcony, we had no problems with the 7th or 3rd floors. The balconies on 6 and below are bigger than on 7 and 8 if that's important. There really is not a "bad" room in the place. Sun Palace does not differentiate between a junior suite and a superior deluxe. You can make a request for a specific floor or room but they do not make room assignments until the day prior to your arrival so its hit or miss on getting what you ask for. They will move you to another room if one is available.

We had a room on the 8th floor and it was a Superior Deluxe. It was slightly less in price than the Jr Suite-but that could have been the NWA Worldvacation pricing too. We picked that as we preferred the bed near the sliding glass door..the Palace resort website shows the rooms to be different sizes. Decided not to request a floor either...just see what happened - liked the view and quiet of 818. Some of the prior reviews listed room #'s to avoid.. i.e. 00-05? Think if you don't like where you are .. they'll change it for you.
