Your resort is usually the best place. Don't exchange any at the airport as the rate is terrible.

When we were in Cabo, we found the bank machines had the best rate.

You may also want to check the exchange booths located almost everywhere including all the malls. Le Meridien is a beautiful hotel. Enjoy your vacation.

Most resorts and hotels will not give you a good rate. Use the ATMs which are located all over the area for the best rate. Their are 2 bank operated ATMs at the Cancun airport should you need cash upon arrival.

The odds are your hotel will be your worst option. About 1 out of 10 hotels will give you a fair exchange rate, but I don't know about your hotel specifically. Your best option is the bank, the closest one from your hotel is behind Plaza Kukulcan. The exchange houses' rates get better the closer you get to downtown. Another good way is just to use your ATM card. Keep in mind that almost everywhere in Cancun accepts USD, but there rates may not be great.
