Palace Resort tour advice for a couple in their late 60's

Apr 10, 2013, 10:44 PM

Trying to figure out what activities would be okay for us to do when we go on vacation at Moon Palace in Cancun. Have already done the free tours on previous trips and would like to try something different this time. Is Wet & Wild fun? Sounds like the Ultimate Dolphin Swim gets good reviews. Can we use our $1,500 money for any of these additional tours? XPLOR sounds good but is that more for the young and in great shape? We both think it would be fun to try the zipline. Is the Contoy Island tour a good one? What is the Paradise Aventure and the Punta Venado tours like? Has anyone gone on any of these tours? Have advice as to which tours would be good for senior citizens? Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

The worst part about the Xplor ziplines is the walking up the towers. I suggest being there when they open. Take your time walking up. Drink plenty of fluids.

Your age, too. We liked the Chichen Itza tour. A couple of relaxing hours getting there, same back, tour guide talking some on the way. A never to be forgotten experience. But I don't think you can use your $1,500 to do this....but check it out.
