Tummy troubles !

Okayso got the dreaded tummy troubles. Have had for two days now. Got nifuroxazida from chemist with no improvement. Worried now flying home in two days and at present cant get out of room. Any ideas for anything different to take. Have got immodium.

Ask for Bonadoxina at the pharmacy, or if you want natural, activated charcoal.

Many doctors give Cipro but it does require a prescription. That is easy to get. You can go to a Farmacia Similares in the center of town and see a doctor for 35 pesos . They can give you a prescription and you can get generic Cipro at a very low price there.

Imodium which you already have will plug you up for the trip home.

It's about all I ever carry; my second line of defense after hand sanitizer.

Cipro is really effective at knocking down a variety of stomach ailments and other problems. You should take a probiotic with it or if you can't get that eat yogurt. Keep hydrated. All pharmacies sell rehydration liquids. These contain the mix of salts and minerals the body needs. More effective than gatorade.

Thank you for advice. Always take a probiotic( work with kids!) hoping to feel better soon. Need to get some fresh air soon.
