airport-

Hi,

Jumping over here from the Aruba forum for a girls trip to Cancun in February. When we are departing Cancun our flight is at 5:00p.m. We will be coming from the Golden Parnassus so we have round trip transfers to the airport. Does the shuttle from the hotel run several times during the afternoon? we wouldn't want to spend all day at the airport and would like to get a last bit of sun. Thanks for any assistance.

If they run shuttles, maybe that info is on their website.

Ot find out when they run when you get there. If not acceptable, use a taxi or private service.

Thanks. I know that transfers are included in our price so we will look to see how often the shuttle bus runs. Thank you

Most shuttles/ transfers want you at the airport 3 hours prior to leaving

Lots of hotels rely on non hotel shuttles (called shared transfers)

I would check with whomever you booked with to find out who is doing your transfer because as far as I know, the Golden doesn't have it's own service. If it's a shared shuttle, you may have to leave earlier depending on how many other resorts they have to stop at on the way to the airport. Check out time is 11 am but you can use their facilities until it's time to leave for the airport. Most transfer companies do want to pick you up 2 1/2 to 3 hours prior to departure (plus travel time), so most of your afternoon is going to be eaten up anyway.

Three hours sounds like a lot, but except for our recent return this weekend (probably set a record for a Sat. departure), we have faced some very long lines checking in and going through security.
