beach huts

Looking for a great hotel with lots of beach huts..we are not pool people.

We have been to Mexico before ..we are looking for at least a 4 star.

We are flying from Atlantic Canada.

Agree with Earl ...... and a definition of your idea of "great" would be useful too (no-one comes on this website asking to be referred to a dump!)

Most importantly when d'you plan on visiting and what's your per night accommodation budget?

FWIW, if you buy the Privilege Package at the Valentin Imperial Maya, you get a reserved palapa at either the beach or the pool. However, at US$60 per person/per day, that's not exactly cheap. I believe other resorts have similar programmes where you can get a reserved palapa by upgrading to "preferred" status.

Another option, especially if you plan on visiting during high season, would be to look at staying in a condo, villa or a boutique hotel. Palapa and lounger availability isn't usually an issue at those sorts of places.
